A walk of faith requires patience
which comes from tests of love
as Jesus leads us all through life
it’s us He’s thinking of

steady endurance of our faith
will build and be increased
because experience strengthens us
trusting God is more free

this trust and patience work in hand
for good shall be the end
when prayers are answered just in time
patience is rewarded then

never lean on circumstances
or worry having doubts
for God is willing to help one
work these problems out

waiting for an answer to come
teaches man certain traits
in building character through trust
a man must learn to wait

with the endurance of one’s faith
brings blessings to us all
when we see how one overcame
the insurmountable walls

Jesus is Lord in everything
His word of promise stands
with God all things are possible
for He is in command
